WINDSOR, Colo. -- Residents of one Windsor subdivision challenged the head of an energy company Monday during a sometimes heated community meeting.
Ranchers Exploration Partners wants to begin drilling for natural gas in their neighborhood, using a controversial method called "fracking."
"Everything is just stacked against you and I've never felt so hopeless," said Nicole Stansfield, a resident of the River Ridge subdivision, speaking prior to the meeting at Windsor's Community Recreation Center.
