Protection has ordered three major operators to plug more than 1,000

The three administrative orders, issued last
week, cover wells that Alliance Petroleum Corporation of Canton, Ohio,
CNX Gas Company of Canonsburg and XTO Energy of Warrendale reported as
not producing oil or gas in 2017, according to the DEP.
