Lost and Abandoned Wells and How to Locate Them

On May 18 Save Our Streams PA will be giving a presentation on
lost and abandoned wells and how to locate them during the
"Allegany State Park Geobash VII, 2012"
We are looking forward to meeting with the Geocachers who have expressed interest
in helping us with the search for lost wells in the PA/NY oil and gas region.
In previous years each of the annual Geobash events have been attended by hundreds of people.
People who have enjoyed spending their time hunting for caches,
enjoy the outdoors and have GPS units. This seems like a match made in heaven!
We are very hopeful that by enlisting their help, many more of the regions
lost and abandoned wells will be located.
