Cornell University professor Anthony Ingraffea, an expert on the technology used to extract gas from deep shale formations, will present “Development of Natural Gas Shales: Some Myths and Realities,” at 7 p.m. May 10 in Penn State’s HUB Auditorium.
Ingraffea will discuss some of the more notable issues involved in development of unconventional natural gas wells in shale formations. The presentation is sponsored by Penn State Eco-Action and Sierra Club Moshannon Group.
