Panel formed to study effects of natural gas drilling in Wyoming
WARSAW -- Citing water quality concerns, a subcommittee has been formed to explore the effects of natural gas drilling in Wyoming County.
The Marcellus Shale Committee will explore the potential impacts -- positive and negative -- on water supply, drinking water safety, quality of life, and a host of other issues, said Supervisor James Fleischman of Java, its chairman.
